World Bank Scholarship Program offers scholarships to international students wishing to continue their education in one of the 48 participating programs at a university in the United States, in Europe, Africa, Oceania, and Japan, and in key areas of development, including economic policy management, fiscal policy, and infrastructure management.
To be considered for the World Bank 2021 scholarship program, candidates must meet the program requirements listed below.
Candidates from any nationality meet the requirements.
Become a citizen of a developing country or a member of the World Bank.
Does not have double citizenship from any developed country;
In good health;
Hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) obtained at least 3 years before the date of the application deadline;
Has 3 years or more of work experience related to recent development after getting a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent);
Hiring in work related to development in a full-time paid position when applying for a scholarship application.
Benefits of Scholarships
The World Bank Scholarship Program funded fully includes the following benefits;
Economic-class air travel between your home country and host University at the beginning of your study program and immediately after the end of the scholarship period. In addition to two-way air travel, scholars will receive the US $ 500 travel allowances for each trip;
Tuition fees for your graduate program and basic medical insurance costs are obtained through universities.
While on campus during the scholarship period, monthly subsistence allowances to close all living costs (accommodation, food, etc., including books). The amount of allowances varies depending on the host country.
VISA (S) application costs
Costs for carrying and/or supporting undergraduate family members;
Extracurricular courses or training;
Courses that do not meet the minimum loans needed to obtain a bachelor’s degree;
Language training is not provided by the graduate program;

Educational equipment such as computers.
